A week of nights

I am currently midway through a week of nights in Kayenta.

Kinda sucks cause it takes me at least a week to adjust to working nights, so only doing the night shift for a week or so is just enough to really f me up. Come Monday I'm back on days in Chinle.

But I only have to be in Chinle for 9 days then I'm on days off. The plan so far is to take the train from Gallup to California to see people and renew my medical. Hard to believe it's been like 9 months since I left. So looking forward to sushi, seeing people, getting stupid with Justin and company, etc.

Not really sure why, but it's been busy lately. I've been doing at least a flight a day where as before I was doing maybe a flight every other day. In February, with a bit of situational irony, I worked the least amount of days (22) and put in the most amount of flight hours for any month so far (60 hours).

At the house in Blanding, we can finally see most of the drive way, some of the front yard, and bits and pieces of the back yard. We have our first flower blooming right outside our front door. I have no idea what would survive in the below-freezing temps at night, but I suppose we'll see. I've asked Stacey to get a picture of it, but as of yet that hasn't happened.
