We have all kinds of stuff growing at the house.
The first things to pop up were the tulips. None have begun to flower yet, but the leaves have grown and make a nice contrast to the dirt and the brown grass.
Apparently we also have Daffodils. We had no Idea they were even planted.
There's also these flowers that are as of yet unidentified. I give it a couple of days till Stacey figures out what they are.
It's been getting decently warm during the day, but we're still not ready to plant a garden cause it's getting down to freezing (or even a bit below) at night. All our neighbors say you can't usually plant stuff till around May. I'm kinda wondering if we can get some plants started in the house, maybe upstairs, so that way by the time for planting comes they'll be all good to go.
K is happy with her new swing she got for Easter. It beats the old one that was hanging up; a baby swing (full seat type) on some skeezy looking ropes. I'm a little bummed though cause now my easy metric for telling how deep the snow was this year has been removed.
Tonight has been boring as hell, with not even a single phone call from dispatch. On the plus side, I finally was able to watch My Best Friends Girl, get some paperwork caught up, and take a nap.
I'm heading home for the day in a little bit, and it'll be the last time I get home for a few three days, but I'll be bringing leftovers back with me, so there's that. I had planned on spending at least another day in Blanding, but the tree trimming people will be there making a ton of noise, and I need to be able to sleep for the night shift.
Ill be back in K-town tonight, then I'll be headd back to Chinle for a couple days. I think I might do some commuting though when I come back to Kayenta before my days off (and Hawaii after that).
